Say goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013 by heading back to the future and forward to the past at our New Year’s Time Warp Party weekend!
Days will focus on the best of Yosemite, including a variety of guided adventures, naturalist tours, Giant Sequoia snowshoe walks and scenic hikes. Nights will feature gaming, billiards, music, costumes and dancing. Food will range from extravagant dinners to fireside s'mores. Our Tavern bartenders will have a memorable array of drinks flowing all weekend!
Our secluded setting in the forest allows for an intimate New Year's experience, and since we have no neighbors, our New Year’s Eve Time Warp celebration can go all night long (or as long as you can)! When you’re ready to retire, you just stroll back to your cozy cabin in the woods – no driving required!
There will also be plenty of unstructured time throughout the weekend to enjoy the privacy of your cabin in the woods, play board games or read a book on a cozy couch by the roaring fireplace in the Recreation Center, catch bowl games in our classic tavern, or sneak away for a full body massage and a soak in our new hot tub. The weekend will provide the perfect mix of recreation, relaxation & indulgence.
You can enjoy your New Year's celebration with us in two ways:
- A la Carte – Book your cabin (two-night minimum), then pick and choose from the many dining, party and recreation options available.
- New Year's Package – Get the most value, fun and convenience from your visit by purchasing a two or three-night package, including New Year's Eve dinner & party, New Year's Day brunch, and much more.

Kick the celebration off right with a night of merriment. Start by joining us for a memorable feast. Then head to the tavern for a bit of Karaoke and one (or more) of our legendary Yosemite inspired cocktails as you warm up for a friendly game of chance in our Old Vegas Casino.
We’ll feature old style casino games, complete with tables and dealers, for the Evergreen Lodge Time Warp Poker Tournament. Whether you play or not, you’ll enjoy the scene and the sounds of Vegas from Frank, Dean and Sammy while you indulge in one of our favorite Vegas traditions, fabulous cocktails!
Head out early and explore the best of Yosemite on a guided Giant Sequoia snowshoe trip, a Yosemite Valley Naturalist Tour or another of our guided adventures, or treat yourself to a peaceful morning at the lodge with a bit of yoga, a hearty mountain breakfast and a soak in our hot tub! Then spend time relaxing by the fire with a good book in our Recreation Center, or stretch your legs with a stroll around our nature trail.

Return in time for an indulgent full-body massage in our massage cabana. Treatments include Evergreen's signature Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology and hot stone therapies (massage available throughout the week – advance reservations required).
As the sun sets, prepare to join us for an exciting evening of dining, gaming, music, dancing and decadence as we ring in the New Year! This year’s Time Warp Party promises all the fun and more of past sold out Evergreen New Year’s gala events!
New Year’s Eve Feast
Chef Aaron and his team will be creating a sumptuous Time Warp feast – they never miss the mark! Choose from a variety of taste tempting appetizer and dinner selections along with your choice of special Time Warp cocktails. Then finish your meal off with one of our decadent 'timeless' desserts.

Time Warp Party
We’ll be ringing out the old and celebrating the new with a step back to the future and forward to the past in our Evergreen Time Warp! Dress in costume from your favorite era – bygone or yet to come – and arrive ready to party! You could be a Vegas doll from the '60's, be Madmen cool in your suit and tie or step forward in time and be a futuristic partier from 2113!
Pick an era, dress the part and have blast, from the future or the past! Important note: costumes not required – 'come as you are' is always in style at the 'Green. Our Time Warp Party starts at 8:30PM and will feature a live band to kick up your heels and dance the night away!
If you need a break from dancing, our gaming tables will be back in action. There you can join in on a game of black jack, poker, craps or billiards. You won’t get pinched at our casino, as it is all funny money for the Vegas High Rollers, and we'll be awarding prizes to the winners!
At midnight, we will countdown to the New Year in Time Warp style, whether your New Year is a year from the past or a year in the future, we will all be counting down together until that all important popping of the cork and midnight smooch! And keep an eye out, you never know what travelers from far-away times and places may make an appearance to help you ring in the new year.
The Time Warp Party will continue well after gaming and the midnight countdown! Enjoy the celebration to the fullest, then take a short stroll back to your cabin at the end of your night, whenever that may be.

Kid Zone
In addition to our adult-oriented festivities, we'll also have a place for younger party-goers to hang out. In nearby Tuolumne Hall, we’ll have a lightly supervised 'Kid Zone' complete with crafts, movies, s'mores and a kid-friendly midnight countdown. Note: babysitting service is not provided.

On New Year's Day, start out the year right by joining us for a wonderful brunch, served late for all you late-night Time Warpers!

This is a perfect day to enjoy the grandeur of Yosemite on a guided naturalist tour, hike or snowshoe walk (reservations required). Or if you are not feeling too adventurous, just spend a day lounging at the Lodge.
Indulge in a stress-reducing start to the new year with a massage in our peaceful massage cabana. Afterwards, head over to our large hot tub and lose yourself in the beauty of our newest lodge addition.
Then roll over to our Recreation Center, complete with board games, library, comfy couches and blazing fireplace – another special setting to enjoy your day. For those looking forward to New Year’s football games, take a seat in the tavern or Tuolumne Hall and cheer for your favorite team on the big screen as we air the day’s bowl games.
