Wednesday, November 27th - Sunday, November 30th
Thanksgiving is a special time at the Evergreen. Throughout the weekend, we focus our energies and activities on creating a memorable holiday experience so you can have as much fun as possible on your Yosemite getaway.
We offer feasts, a host of guided recreation excursions, campfires, evening programs and lots of opportunity for relaxation, so everyone can find the perfect mix of activities (and inactivity) for their holiday weekend.
You can enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend with us in two ways:

- A la Carte – Book your cabin (three-night minimum), then pick and choose from the many dining, activity and recreation options available.
- Thanksgiving Package – Get the most value, fun and convenience from your visit by purchasing a three or four-night package, including Thanksgiving dinner, other meals, recreation, activities and more.
NOTE: Please book early as the Thanksgiving weekend sells out.

Arrive early and enjoy a relaxing lunch, then join us for our Owl Prowl Hike, which leaves from our doorstep and takes you through old growth forest in search of the Great Gray Owl, then continues onto spectacular sunset views over the rim of the Tuolumne River Canyon.
After dinner, enjoy a beautiful naturalist slide show, then head over to the Evergreen tavern, which will be hoppin’ with a pre-Thanksgiving party, including late-night munchies and music to keep your toes tapping and energized for the upcoming festivities. This will be a great start to a fun-filled mountain getaway!
Sleep in and enjoy the holiday. After a hearty breakfast, gear up to hit the park with our naturalist guides for a memorable Yosemite Valley Sightseeing Tour or Giant Sequoia Hike (or Snowshoe!).
Or join us to explore Yosemite’s hidden gem: the Hetch Hetchy Valley, where you can enjoy a leisurely naturalist guided hike featuring scenic vistas and beautiful Wapama Falls. See how the glaciers carved out the present day valley and learn about the local flora & fauna, while working up an appetite on the trail.

If you're feeling a little lazy, hang out at the lodge and root for your favorite football team, as we turn our tavern into your turkey day living room, with ballgames and beverages available throughout the day.
Holiday Meal Extravaganza
While you're enjoying your day, Chef Aaron and his team will be in the kitchen preparing a decadent holiday feast. Choose from a variety of savory options, and top off your meal with one of our delicious homemade desserts!

Time: 2PM - 9:30PM
Price: $40 Adults; Kids (age 2-12) half price, or separate kids menu also available
After you’ve eaten, join us for a classic sunset hayride or “Walk off your Turkey” with our naturalist guides as we pass through serene forest in search of wildlife on our way to beautiful Birch Lake. Or stick around the lodge and join our crafts team and create your own tie dye t-shirts.
Later in the evening, gather around our outdoor fireplace to roast s'mores and enjoy a relaxing evening of fireside games.
Begin your day with a delicious hot breakfast, then grab lunch to go and hit the trail with family and friends for the day. Join an interpretive hike or snowshoe (weather permitting) to see the world’s largest living specimens - Giant Sequoias, take a sightseeing tour of Yosemite Valley or relax in the morning and join us for an afternoon “Owl Prowl” hike.
Arrive back at the lodge in time for your indulgent full-body massage (available throughout the weekend – reservations required), or drop by the Recreation Center for a quick ‘massage by the minute’. Relaxed and refreshed, join the kids for dinner and s’mores by the fireside. Then take a well-earned break while the kids head off to the event hall for BINGO!
Indulge in a lazy morning and a delicious hot breakfast, then get out and enjoy the day. Once again you can choose from one of our guided hikes, bike trips or sightseeing tours. Whichever trip you choose, you will learn more about the history, folklore, plants and animals of Yosemite, and take in the breathtaking vistas of the postcard perfect scenery.
Return to the lodge in time for another memorable night of dining and activities. At sunset, join us for a hayride - be sure to grab your coat, hat, and camera. Enjoy the crisp smell of the autumn leaves and the laughter of children as we wind through the woods with hot apple cider and the feel of an old time tradition. Then head over to the Recreation Center for a fun-filled arts & crafts photo session. Afterwards, have a delicious dinner, enjoy a memorable Western Sierra slide show, then join us for drinks and great live music in the Tavern.
Wake up revived and refreshed. Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet, then sneak in one last great hike or bike trip before heading back to the real world.
Or join us for lunch, relaxation and football games in the tavern. Then hit the road, smiling all the way home as you revel in the memory of a new found holiday tradition in the mountains.
NOTE: When you arrive, we’ll provide a detailed itinerary that includes all of the weekend’s activities, times and pricing.
