Join us for a night of music as we present one of our favorite acts, the Adam Burns Band.
In February 2005 a very nervous Adam Burns made his first public appearance as a singer/songwriter at a Tsunami benefit concert in El Portal, California. Adam grew up in rural England and has been playing guitar and singing since he was in high school. However, it was the creative and passionate community of El Portal that inspired him to finally bring his songs out of the closet.
The Adam Burns Band was born in 2005, when drummer Greg Nespor and bassist Greg Archer joined Adam for the ‘Amstock’ music festival. Soon afterwards, the addition of Kristin Ramsey on vocals, violin and guitar completed the current lineup. The band offers a compelling mixture of motown, pop, funk, reggae and rock.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome the groovy reggae sounds of Green Machine.
Rising out of the post-Garcia and reggae scenes of the late 90's, Green Machine's constantly evolving sound has found its way into the hearts of music lovers everywhere. After years of experimentation with almost every genre, they have developed a unique sound that can only be described as "reggadelic jam jazz".
Tina Avila's powerful bass and vocals, Mars Copland's solid reggae drums and Chris Avila's guitar lines are complemented by the Rasta ramblings of reggae veteran Ras Horace. Green Machine's progressive message and solid grooves have landed them spots opening for the likes of Don Carlos and Isaac Halie Selassie. Their shows are truly a feast for the eyes, ears and soul.

Cuesta Ridge Mountain Boys was born in the sweet confines of the Santa Lucia Mountains, on California’s central coast. Constantly writing new originals, this talented bunch also likes to challenge themselves with fresh covers at each gathering.

Join us for a night of music as we welcome back to the Evergreen Lodge, Sugar Shack.
With elements of soul, R&B, funk, rock, and pop, Sugar Shack plays original music that’s hard to categorize but easy to groove to. The first thing that always blows people away is the power and beauty of Becca Neunebel’s voice. At 25 years old she has already been on countless recordings and in 2006 received a Chico Area Music Award for Best Female Vocalist.
The next thing that people are drawn to is the groove. The members of the band have been laying down grooves for artists like Narada Michael Waldon, Lonnie Smith, Tang, and Will Bernard for the past several years. Though side projects are always available, it’s clear that Sugar Shack is where they have all found their home and will make their mark.
Sugar Shack is the real deal - a solid band with well-crafted original songs and an incredible vocalist.

The Trespassers aim is to travel around celebrating life, spreading a message of peace, love, respect, political revolution, social consciousness, and creative expression through song and dance, all in a touring vehicle fueled by recycled veggie oil.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome singer/songwriter and guitarist, Chuck Ragan.
One listen to the debut studio album, "Feast Or Famine", and it is undeniable that the deep, gruff voice that once screamed powerful punk anthems belongs to none other than Chuck Ragan. The former Hot Water Music front man has become a musical troubadour, writing stripped-down acoustic songs that retain the same passion evident in his punk rock career. Feast or Famine beautifully captures the sound of a gifted singer/songwriter as he journeys into the next chapter of his musical life, with an acoustic guitar in hand.
The album also displays Ragan’s remarkable musical talents with him playing the harmonica, lap steel and both acoustic and electric guitars.
“I had fun playing all sorts of old instruments on the record and I think we achieved a pretty full sound from the trashcan to the pipe wrench,” Ragan says with a laugh, “I was also very blessed to have some really awesome people contribute to this record.”
"Feast or Famine" at its core is a folk record in the most traditional sense of the term. Each song stands alone and yet molds together to take the listener on a melodic journey.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome Bay Area independent rock band, Farewell Typewriter.
The members of Farewell Typewriter met at a vacuum cleaner sales conference in Pierre, South Dakota years ago. After a few banana daiquiris at the Kings Inn, the boys started jamming on some ukuleles and cigar-box guitars that were in the hotel lobby. Lo and behold, the seeds of the band were planted.
Farewell Typewriter's songs are influenced by music that spans several genres, but contains several key elements: solid melodies, interesting arrangements and memorable sounds. Hopefully you'll find that these all seep through into the band's music.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome all the way from Michigan, Sprout.
Sprout formed over 10 years ago in Saginaw, Michigan. Five musicians came together to create something new and formed a locomotive-like conglomeration focused on bringing a diverse new energy to the Saginaw music scene. Musically, Sprout has a broad range from rock, bluegrass & reggae to funk, blues & country.
2008 was a great year for the band. Sprout gathered with musicians from all over Michigan (including Loren Kranz, Matt Besey, Derek Young and Dallas Barr) to recreate The Band’s “Last Waltz”. They also released their first album, which debuted in June 2008 to rave reviews.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome for the first time to the Evergreen, Volifonix.
Volifonix is a funk-fried rock band from Oregon led by the Forbess brothers - Blake (drummer/vocalist) and Trevor (guitar/vocalist). They formed an alliance with Elijah Medina after hearing him playing bass at rural Sutherlin High School. The band of three then promptly moved to free-art epicenter Eugene Oregon where they melded styles with fellow sonic spelunker, Joe McClain.
The result is artistic freedom with no bounds and pure muso-theoretical kung fu served up with a muscley groove. Volifonix elevates styles to the highest, and always within the spirit of well-crafted songmanship, fun and the all-important jam. Reckless yet focused, crazy yet smooth, Volifonix are true sages of their form with a hair-on-fire, original approach to pop/rock/funk/junk.

Join us for a night of music as welcome the honky-tonk, Americana-folk sounds of the Horseshoes.
Famed Nashville songwriter Harlan Howard once said, "Country music is three chords and the truth." The Horseshoes would agree. This energetic female quintet, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, scorns "contemporary country" and celebrates the roots of country music. Fresh from their European tour, their debut CD "Get Lucky" is getting rave reviews on country music websites and radio stations throughout Belgium, Holland, the Netherlands, and even America.
Camilla, Joni, Lala, Emily and Diana come from varied backgrounds of music, but their mutual love for the time-honored songs of American old-time music and early honky-tonk country brings them together. Multi-instrumentalism is a trademark of the band: banjo, fiddle, guitar, upright bass, lap steel, dobro, mandolin, ukulele, honky-tonk piano, accordion, washboard and even spoons are featured in their music. Added with their sweet harmonies, and infectious original tunes, The Horseshoes evoke the best of a bygone era and bring that boot stomping, hollering spirit direct to you.

Join us in the tavern as we welcome from Sonoma County, the Green String Farm Band.
The Green String Farm Band makes pesticide free music - no overdubs, no edits, RAW. Their belief is that the creation of music has become overproduced, poisoned by progress and ignores where we have come from. They are not doing anything new just reminding people of our American musical history and folding in a unique Sonoma County perspective.
The Green String Farm Band was born on a single day of live recording in a 1900's School house. They chose original and traditional material with the grand plans to make people happy. This music is rough, real and to be sung out loud together.

A true band of friends, the Brothers Comatose have their roots deeply seeded in wine-fueled jam sessions in various living rooms. They have been playing music they love for friends, family, fans and anyone within earshot for well over a decade.
With the addition of a fiddle, the Brothers Comatose have opened up their musical focus to include old-school Americana with a deeply personal and original twist. The Brothers Comatose draw on creativity and a wide timeline of influences to create an upbeat, truthful style of music that is truly their own.
