Brian Travis Band
Join us for a night of music as we welcome the Brian Travis Band.

It's not every day that a club owner sets his bar on fire to celebrate a great performance from a visiting band, but that's just what happened when The Brian Travis Band rocked the Isla Cantina on Sunset Boulevard. As the band dove into the opening notes of the Burning Man-themed crowd favorite "Gasoline," a row of flame whipped across the top of the bar.

The Brian Travis Band sure doesn't lack for that energy onstage; whether they're playing to a mellow Venice crowd at The Stronghold or a pumped up room of Hollywood-goers at The Hotel Cafe, The Brian Travis band plays with the kind of fun punk attitude usually reserved for moshing crowds. Travis, Mark Wickliffe (drums), Steve Wiel (bass) & Joe Arena (guitars) effortlessly mix classic rock with twangs of country and hints of the blues, giving traditional folk melodies a unique rock and roll vibe.

Relic 45
Join us in the tavern as we welcome Relic 45.

If you trace rock-and-roll back to itís roots youíre going to reach a few common denominators. Youíre bound to catch a hint of the blues, maybe some country and even a little R&B. Itís no wonder so many bands tend to sound the same these days. Relic 45 looks to change that defeated way of thinking. The band takes all of those same building blocks that make up their genre and runs with their own interpretation.

There are a few things you can expect to hear when listening to Relic 45: a driving groove, emotional deliveries from all parts of the stage, and the sound of your own feet tapping along until your shins are sore.

Hendrikz Mcleod with Grace Park
Join us in the tavern as we welcome back to the Evergreen, Hendrikz Mcleod.

Hendrikz McLeod is a plethora of dark soothsayer musical fabric woven with intricate rhythms, harmonious melodies, and lyrics that Lewis Carroll could find hidden in the front pockets of his coat worn during his troubled years. Founded in late 2009 by members Dominic Hendrikz (Ashland, Oregon) and Mike McLeod (Austin, TX), this fresh sound is beginning to flip heads and turn eyes around the Austin music scene.

Hendrikz, the ringleader of this aural circus, writes the melodies and pens the lyrics of the group. Mike McLeod, a classically trained guitarist, has performed with a number of bands and worked for film director giant, Richard Linklater. Hendrikz McLeod joined forces with a rhythm section that makes solid groove foundations like professional contractual architects, hired for their music crafting fingers and toes.

Grace Park is best known for her work with Austin acoustic trio The Blue Hit, now on hiatus. An avid singer and songwriter, Grace's new project with The Deer is an entirely different outlet for her music. She is a visual artist as well, making most of the band's art. Though still undeniably Texas folk, Grace's songs often have an eerie, modal feeling and tell stories of obsession, desire, and violence.
