Join us for an epic adventure in the very heart of the Yosemite High Country. This 10-mile (round-trip) trail to Tuolumne Falls takes you to a beautiful cascade waterfall, granite cliffs, pristine meadows and breathtaking alpine forests. Your hiking efforts will be rewarded with matchless views of the Tuolumne River along with astonishing sights nestled in the natural beauty of the backcountry of Yosemite.

Plan for a full day of hiking with some swimming if time and weather allows. This is a moderate-strenuous 6-8 hour hike with 800 feet of elevation change. Bring your hiking boots, swim suit, and camera for an unforgettable High Sierra experience.

7:30am-5:30pm

GROUP SIZE
Up to 9 participants. Reservations recommended. Contact Recreation Desk for availability and pricing for groups of 8 or more.

PRICE
$220 per person, age 12 and up. Includes transportation, naturalist guide, trekking pole rental, and lunch voucher for use in our General Store. Additional $20 park admission fee per adult (waived for Yosemite Annual Pass or America the Beautiful Pass holders).

DIFFICULTY/AGE LIMIT
Participants should be comfortable hiking up to 13 miles on varied terrain at a starting altitude of 8,500 with an elevation gain of 800 ft. The trip is suitable for fit people ages 12 and above.

MEETING PLACE
All trips meet in the Recreation Center 15 minutes before departure.

WHAT TO BRING
• Completed trip registration forms
• Small backpack with at least 48 oz water and snacks
• Proper footwear–tennis shoes or hiking boots
• Swimsuit (If time and weather allows) swimming can happen on this trip
• Layered clothing including wind/rain jacket (High Country weather can be unpredictable and may include afternoon thunderstorms and wind)
• Bug repellent, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
• Camera and binoculars (optional)

OTHER INFORMATION
• Our first-aid-certified guides carry first aid kits, permits, maps, radios/cell phones, and water filters
• Guide gratuity is not included; for exemplary service, a 10-20% tip is customary
