Mt. Dana Naturalist Hike
Conquer Yosemite’s 2nd highest peak, an extinct, ancient volcano, on a strenuous 5 mile (round trip) hike that takes you through a lodgepole pine forest and up along the very steep, metamorphic rock-covered mountainside of Mt. Dana. On this hike, you will start at an elevation of about 10,000 ft and reach an altitude of up to 13,061 ft at the summit with stunning panoramic views of the jagged High Sierras, alpine meadows, and Mono Lake!
