Snowshoes

In addition to guided snowshoe hikes, we also offer snowshoe rentals. All winter and spring there is great snowshoeing both around the Park and right out our front door. The High Country usually has snow well into the summer. Modern snowshoes are lightweight and easy to use. We are happy to give you a quick ‘how to’ session and send you on your way with snowshoes and poles in hand for a memorable day’s adventure. We can also help with trip routing to ensure you have a fun day making fresh tracks in the Park.

Trekking Poles

What do the Europeans know that we don’t? That trekking poles are a must-have item for hiking to help minimize the impact on your back and knees, to get a full body workout and to assist on descents, water crossings and prodding your partner to wake up from their afternoon nap! Seriously, most guides use poles and once you get used to using them, you’ll be hooked.
