Not Your Average Yosemite Pool Bar!

We plunged into a whole new depth of fun when we opened a new pool area in the sunny Cedar Village area of the resort in 2012. The 2,000 square foot pool and large hot tub are filled with warm, soft saltwater that makes for hours of fun and relaxation without the usual irritation to you or the environment. Of course, new changing rooms and shower facilities were added as well.

There’s a pool house and full-service pool bar so you can soak up the surrounding forest and sunset views in complete comfort. Stylish lounge chairs, ample tables, and convenient umbrellas set the scene to relax, play games, or enjoy drinks. Our walk-up pool bar serves an assortment of tasty libations throughout the day, including beer, wine, spirits, and refreshing blended drinks.

During summer evenings we also serve a classic Poolside BBQ with menu selections that rotate nightly between Caribbean and Southwest BBQ so there’s always something new to enjoy during your stay. Please check with our Front Desk or Restaurant teams for current availability.

Cedar Room and Terrace

For Recreation activities, watching major sporting events on a big screen, meetings and private parties, we also added an upstairs gathering room and outdoor terrace above the Pool Bar. The Cedar Room & Terrace feature a bright and airy 550 square foot event room with an adjoining covered terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding woods.

This space is equally at home hosting business meetings, small company retreats, family reunions, bridal parties, birthday parties and more – all with access to our same great catering services available elsewhere on the property.

Our talented wellness team also hosts yoga classes regularly in the Cedar Room.

This is one Yosemite pool bar designed to satisfy a wide range of interests.

Hours of Operation

The fully fenced swimming pool area is for lodge guests only and is not open to the general public.

The pool is open from 10am – 10pm daily, with the exception of when we are experiencing inclement weather.

Capacity

30′ x 65′ heated swimming pool. Plenty of space for adults and children alike to relax and refresh after a long day on the trail. The pool ranges in depth from 3’ to 4.5′ with a large shallow area for kids to play, as well as a spacious deeper area for adults.

The in-ground hot tub is 10’ x 14’ and accommodates up to 14 people.  It’s become a favorite location for stargazing in total relaxation and comfort.

Green Things

Both the pool and hot tub are solar heated and minimize chemical use through saltwater purification. The pool uses an automatic cover each night to minimize energy consumption, and showers drain to a new gray water landscaping system.
