The international B Corp movement is paving the way for a growing trend of people using business as a force for good, and we’re so proud of the Evergreen team for embracing this mission.

Today we’d like to congratulate everyone at the Evergreen for earning a spot on the 2015 B Corp Best for the World List.  This list honors B Corps who score in the top 10% on the B Impact Assessment, a comprehensive evaluation of a company’s impact on workers, the community and the environment. It’s the business equivalent of making the Honor Roll, or the Dean’s List, or the All-Star team!

You’ll find us listed in the “Best for Communities” category on the B Corp website.  As a “Best for Communities” honoree, we’re being recognized as one of the top performers in an already-amazing group of businesses when it comes to creating opportunities in our community.

The Community section of the B Impact Assessment evaluates supplier relations, diversity, and involvement in the local community.  It measures a company’s practices and policies around community service and charitable giving. It also reviews whether a company’s product or service is designed to solve a social issue, including access to basic services, health, education, economic opportunity, and more.

Thank you, Evergreen team, for succeeding where it truly matters.

To all of our guests, we thank you for choosing to support businesses that know that people and place are every bit as important as profits.
