Ideal for families of all sizes Our Accessible Two Bedroom Family Cabins feature a bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with twin beds, comfortable living room with queen sofa bed and a private deck. These spacious cabins offer ample room to spread out and allow parents to put their kids to bed, hang out in the living room or private deck and sleep in their own bedroom.

Amenities include spacious bathroom with roll-in shower, air conditioning unit, in-room Wi-Fi, Alexa device for in-room entertainment and music, phone, historic artwork, Keurig coffee brewer, electric kettle, refrigerator, feather pillows, eco-friendly bath products, hairdryer, iron, electronic safe, ceiling fan, vaulted ceiling and more. Cabins do not have kitchens as there is no cooking allowed in or around cabins or at campsites.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

  • Check-out is 11am and check-in is 4pm

  • Rates vary by season, with lower rates offered during winter months and higher rates during peak season

  • Two-night minimum stays are often required during peak season and off-season weekends. Two to three-night minimum stays may be required during holiday periods

  • All cabins are non-smoking. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in cabins

  • Guests are responsible for maintaining their cabin in good order and will be charged for damaged or missing furnishings, fixtures and supplies

  • Indoor furniture must remain inside the cabin and not be brought onto the deck or other outdoor areas

  • Dogs are allowed on property ONLY for those who have reserved a cottage or villa with our Doggie Daily rate, and subject to all requirements of our Pet Policy

  • Cooking is not permitted in or around cabins or campsites

  • Rates are subject to county occupancy tax and state tourism tax

  • We cannot guarantee requests for specific cabins, though we’ll do our best to accommodate

  • Advance deposit is required at time of reservation

  • A valid credit card must be presented and placed on file at check-in.  This card must be the same card used to pay the advance deposit

  • John Muir House and Kay’s Nest guests will be charged a cleaning fee of $250 if the house is left excessively dirty

  • John Muir House and Kay’s Nest guests are also responsible for loading and running the dishwasher before departure. A $30 fee will be charged for failure to do so


Winter Schedule
Please note that the Evergreen Lodge typically closes for the month of January and reopens in early February. Our reservation staff is available seven days a week during this time so please call (209) 379-2606, email us or reserve online.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy
For flexible, refundable rates:

  • A one-night Deposit (including tax) for each room booked is required at the time of booking

  • We have a 7-day cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation 7+ days before check-in your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before check-in you will forfeit your entire deposit

  • Any modifications to an existing reservation are subject to a $25 Change Fee

  • A one-night Early Departure Fee will be charged for early check-outs


For advance purchase, non-refundable rates:

  • Prepayment of your entire stay (including tax) is due at the time of booking

  • These reservations are non-refundable.  Once confirmed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including cancellations and no-shows

  • These reservations are non-modifiable.  Once confirmed, changes to dates or other aspects of the reservation are not permitted


No-Show & Late Arrival Policy

  • Booked rooms are held until 5am the morning following your scheduled arrival date

  • Reservations not claimed by that time will be cancelled and all rooms released

  • For flexible rates, no-shows will forfeit their entire deposit.  For non-refundable rates, no-shows will receive no refunds
